Declaration of Wulf Pietruszka against Heszel Majorowicz regarding the failure to resign from the office of the scribe
Wulf Pietruszka, Hrubieszów elder and delegate to the regional council of all communities in the Bełz voivodeship and Chełm region, declares against the previous scribe of the Chełm Jews’ council, Heszel Majorowicz, whom he accuses of holding the office of the Chełm-Bełz scribe for 10 years against the principle of alternation. He also protests againts the sum of 70 zlotys, which the communities of the Bełz voivodeship pay annually to the communities of the Zamość Entailed Estate.
