Letter of Plaskowski, the Trembowla cupbearer, to Marcin Zamoyski, the treasurer, in the matter of the Jewish poll tax

Franciszek Plaskowski reported that Jews in the entire Crown, relying on the treasurer’s universal, do not want to pay poll tax in a good coin (silver), but only in copper coins; he advises repealing the universal.
