Protestation of Poznań elders and Kalisz land elders regarding the murder of Jewish merchants

Jakub Ber and Józef Szocher, Poznań elders, Samuel Jakubowicz, Kalisz land elder, and Lewek, the land syndic of Kalisz, along with the widow Ita and son Daniel from Poznań, protest against peasants and servants from the villages of Jasienna, Duszna, and Dziekanowice, accusing them of murdering two Jewish merchants going to the Gniezno fair on a public road on 1 September 1647.
