Decree be the arbitral tribunal in a case between the qahal of Tykocin and the qahal of Siamiatycze, along with assurance for the Jews of Siemiatycze

The representatives of both kahals, under the supervision of the rabbi o Tykocin, in the umpire capacity, settle the conditions for repaying of the debt due to the kahal of Tykocin from the kahal of Siemiatycze. The kahal of Siemiatycze has not paid the Jewish poll tax since 1687, and it was only after many excommunications, one of which was imposed by the Four Lands’ Council, that the elders of Siemiatycze agreed to face the arbitral tribunal. At the same time, the Jews of Siemiatycze commit themselves that they will not demand a flat-rate tax, but will pay the poll tax au par with the Jews of Tykocin
