Izrael Dawidowicz, the trustee of Ruthenian Jews, and Mejer Smulowicz, an elder of L’viv, on behalf of Ruthenian land elders issue an assurance to the Standard Bearer of Bydgoszcz and the Crown Treasury scribe. The Ruthenian elders did not come to Warsaw at the appointed time of the 15th August 1718, and did not give the allocated poll tax of 57505 zlotys, but the Treasury scribe agreed to accept the tariff for the above sum. They declare that the tariff has been reliably prepared and undertake to satisfy any possible claims from the holders of the orders of payment. Because some orders of payment have already been issued, at their request the Crown Treasury scribe issued new ones instead of them, while the Ruthenian elders have pledged to take the original ones and send them back to the scribe.
